It is made from rice, lentils, Urad dal, Chana dal, fenugreek, Puffed rice, Toor dal, etc,. Served with potato Curry, chutneys, sambar.
It is popular in South India. It can be found in all other parts of the country and overseas.
In South India, preparation of masala dosa varies from city to city. There are variations in Masala dosa like Davanagere Benne masale dosey (butter dosa), Paper masala dosa.

Dosa is basically South Indian snack which is very tastee, thus making it world wide famous. Dosa is always served with Alu Curry, Indian Sauce or Indian Red Sauce or some times with all combination.

Then from served hot Dosa you cut a piece and take little Alu Curry, and dip the entire bite in sauce before putting it in to your mouth. Here the change is only sauce.
